Why have we chosen the bee-eater as our Domaine’s emblem?

Because we have fallen under the spell of this bird’s shimmering colours and sociable nature,
We live alongside this magnificent species at the foot of “Pierre Aiguille”, one of the best places in France for migratory bird-watching,

We appreciate the solidarity of the bee-eater with its mate, just like the solidarity in our family,
We share the same adventurous spirit when it comes to migration, as we migrated here from our homeland in 2001.
We pay special attention to the ecosystem of our emblem bird and are committed to protecting the environment.
We are particularly impressed by the work of the LPO (Bird Protection League) protecting the birds and raising awareness among visitors.
